A TRAVELER’S GIFT
Though they have come from far-away Denmark to live out their fragile existence on Oregon’s north coast. Yet they continue to move, following each other in an endless quest for something unknowable. Every day I watch them wander. The tiny herd of bright metallic cows twirling on their spindle above our toaster oven. They cast reflections on our walls, uniting the spaces of our small kitchen and dining room.
